Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled session rate. Mobile Zoomies reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to vehicle issues, weather, or staffing; in such cases no cancellation fee applies to the client. Refund Policy: Prepaid single sessions are refundable if cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice. Package sessions that are unused at the time of membership cancellation are refundable on a pro-rata basis, less any applicable administrative fee. No refunds are issued for sessions already rendered.

Is the treadmill safe for dogs?

Indeed, the slatmill operates without a motor; instead, it is propelled by the dog's own energy during their run. The dog's movement drives the platform, allowing them the freedom to accelerate or decelerate as they choose.

For dogs recovering from injury or surgery, we can specifically tailor the exercise to meet your desired goals. This method is particularly beneficial for dogs facing challenges with weight management, providing a structured running experience without pressure.

What if my dog has never used a treadmill before?

Accepted Answer

That’s no problem, the introductory session is designed to help dogs become quickly comfortable on how the slatmill works.

Understanding what motivates your furry friend is key—some dogs love balls, food, squeaky toys, or even scents! We offer tools to engage your dog in a way that brings them joy, ensuring they fully enjoy their exercise.

Throughout the session, all dogs are closely supervised, and owners have the option to participate which will strengthen the bond between you and your pet.

Do you offer memberships or discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes! For single dog houses, have two monthly packages available that are discounted over single sessions & those packages receive priority scheduling.

Question 4

What to expect BEFORE the run.

Accepted Answer

Now that you’ve scanned the QR Code and shared your and your pup's details, we’re super excited to meet you both! We’ll check our routes and get you scheduled within 24 hours, as close as we can to your preferred day and time. You’ll get a confirmation text/email, and once that’s confirmed, your date and time are all set!

Just a heads up, you’ll receive another text 2 hours before your session, reminding you to take away food to avoid a full tummy or bowel movements during the visit.

We’ll also send a quick reminder 30 minutes before we arrive, so you can give your dog one last potty break, get them harnessed up if you have a favorite you like to use, and ready to go! If you don't have a harness, no worries—we’ve got no-pull harnesses for their comfort and safety during the run.

When we arrive, please bring your dog(s) out to the bus, or just let us know in the Owner Form under the Access Details if you’d like us to come to the front door!

What to expect DURING the run.

One-on-one coaching builds your dog's self-confidence and courage while providing the physical and mental release of running. We use positive reinforcement, balls, squeaky toys, and occasional treats to motivate them.

Our slatmills are made by Dog Trotter USA & purchased from Canine Athletes, they are made in the USA and are the highest quality on the market. They do not have a motor, allowing dogs to move through their own effort and energy. Typically, within 5 or so minutes, they become comfortable and begin to explore their limits, experiencing a runner's high just like humans.

What to expect AFTER the run.

Accepted Answer

It is crucial to prevent your dog from consuming large amounts of water or food immediately after exercise. Anticipate that your dog may lie down and pant for a period as their adrenaline and endorphins settle, providing them with a cool and comfortable space to relax is essential.

Once their heart rate decreases and panting subsides, you may offer food and water.

For older dogs, gently rubbing their legs post-exercise can aid in releasing lactic acid and help prevent cramps.

Should you need to limit your dog's exercise intensity, we can certainly accommodate that, ensuring even dogs undergoing rehabilitation can participate safely.
